Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about Vidzo

Below are the questions we hear most often about the Vidzo video tools. If yours is not here, contact us.

Is Vidzo really free?

Yes. All Vidzo tools are free to use, need no account and do not add a watermark to your video.

Do you upload or store my videos?

No. The tools process your video inside your own browser. The file is not sent to Vidzo or to any other server, so we have nothing to store or delete.

What happens to my video when I close the tab?

The working copy exists only in your browser memory. When you close or reload the tab it is gone, so download your result before you leave.

Which browsers work best?

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on a laptop or desktop. Phones can work for short, low resolution clips.

Which video formats can I use?

MP4, MOV and WebM work in most browsers. Some phone formats, such as HEVC, only play in browsers that support them. If a file will not load, try an MP4 (H.264) version.

What format is the finished video?

MP4 when your browser can export it, otherwise WebM. Both play on modern phones and computers.

Why does processing take as long as the video?

Your browser records the processed video in real time. This is what keeps your file on your device, but it means a three-minute clip takes about three minutes.

Why should I keep the tab visible while it runs?

Browsers slow down or pause hidden tabs to save power, which can cause skipped frames. Keep the tab open and in view until the progress bar finishes.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. The limit is shown on each tool. Large files need a lot of memory, so a desktop browser works best.

Does the finished video have sound?

Yes, in browsers that allow audio to be captured. If your browser blocks it, the result may be silent, and trying another browser usually fixes it.

Can I remove any watermark?

No. The Watermark and Logo Remover is only for videos you own or have permission to edit. See our Content Removal Policy.

Does Vidzo use AI to remove logos?

No. It blends nearby colors, blurs, pixelates or crops the area you choose. Results depend on the background and the mark.

How do I report a problem or misuse?
